Who We Are: Meet Our Team
Jennifer Kramer, Co-Producer and Director
Jennifer Kramer is the youngest daughter of legendary filmmaker Stanley Kramer and actress/producer Karen Sharpe.
As a child, Jennifer was cast in roles on television and film but found her real identity later acting challenging roles on the stage after training at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon acting program and the New Actor’s workshop in New York. After several years in New York, Jennifer settled in Los Angeles to be near her family – mother and sister.
Jennifer is also a classically trained pianist who has trained with teachers from Juilliard, UCLA and Cal State Northridge. She has performed in concert Halls in Los Angeles, been a finalist in concerto competitions and is a self-taught composer. As a child, Jennifer dedicated a number of original pieces to individuals such as Jane Fonda, Deborah Kerr, Henry Jaglom and Michele Lee to name a few.
Jennifer has now stepped behind the camera, writing and directing her own films. Her debut short NAKUSA was the first in a series of six musical shorts based on classical music pieces. NAKUSA travelled the United States, Europe and Canada to great critical acclaim winning numerous awards. Five more shorts in compilation are set to become a feature film called LIVING PIECES to be produced through her family’s company KnK Productions, Inc. Jennifer also has two other features she is developing. Jennifer’s unique vision and life experiences have given her a visual style and tone that is all her own.
Amy Nordhues, Co-Producer and Lead Protagonist
Amy Nordhues is a survivor of both childhood sexual abuse and sexual abuse as an adult at the hands of a mental health professional. She is an author, a speaker and an advocate for those harmed by therapists/clergy. She has a BA in psychology with minors in sociology and criminology. Her award-winning memoir, Prayed Upon: Breaking Free from Therapist Abuse was released in Oct. 2021. She has completed numerous radio and podcast interviews on the subject of adult therapist/clergy abuse. In addition, she has presented at the 2022 Beautifully Broken Conference, the 2022 Restoring Hope Celebrating Resilience Conference, the 2022 Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event and the 2023 Crimes Committed Against Women Conference. She continues to be a support and a voice for those harmed by this egregious form of abuse.

By uncovering the contradictions, secrecy, and systemic flaws within the mental health industry, we aim to educate the public about a form of harm that is rarely seen—but deeply devastating.
Through survivor testimony, investigative insight, and public education, we seek to break the silence surrounding this misunderstood form of abuse. Our mission is to give voice to the countless individuals who have been harmed behind closed doors, and to inspire change through awareness, advocacy, and empowerment.
